Our founding objectives

  • Bringing order to industry and supporting planned urban growth
  • Bringing together manufacturers who can use each other's by-products
  • Supporting planned regional and rural development
  • Increasing employment, production and exports
  • Providing investors with shared, cost-effective services

Land and zoning

The entire site belonged to the Treasury; it was expropriated on 09.11.1998 and, after Law No. 4562 came into force, registered in the name of the OSB legal entity on 12.07.2000. As the site fronts the Kızılırmak, the shoreline boundary was determined, and the processes concerning the protected-area status and the health protection buffer were completed in 2000–2001, after which the local zoning plans were approved by the Ministry.
